What to Expect:

Before the session, the medical staff will take your vital signs and review your medical history and current medications

You will be seated in a comfortable chair, and the ketamine will be administered via intramuscular (IM) injection. (Pillows & blankets will be provided)

During the treatment, you may experience various physical and psychological sensations, such as dissociation, altered perception of time and space, and changes in mood and thought patterns.

You may also experience mild to moderate side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, and changes in blood pressure or heart rate. These symptoms are rare in most cases.

After the session, you will be monitored until the effects of the ketamine wear off.

Ketamine therapy is often administered in a series of 6 sessions, with a frequency of one to three times a week for several weeks, followed by maintenance sessions as needed.
